Diana Flores Re-Elected as Dallas College District 6 Trustee; District 5 Headed for Runoff

Diana Flores defeated Angela Enciso for re-election to the District 6 seat on the Dallas College Board of Trustees. With all 463 Dallas County Voting Centers having reported results, and 76,287 votes presently counted in the race, Flores earned 55,097 votes (72.2%), to Enciso’s 21,190 votes (27.8%).

In District 5, incumbent William Wesley Jameson earned a plurality of 36,109 votes (41%). Not having earned a majority, Jameson will face the second-place finisher in a runoff election. As of 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, the race for second place was extremely close. Cliff Boyd currently has 26,179 votes, and Dinesh Mali currently has 25,756 votes. It was unclear as of writing if additional mail-in votes have yet to be counted, or if the eventual third-place finisher might request a recount.
