The enrollment
decline and subsequent schedule management decisions have caused many Dallas
College faculty to see a decrease to their extra service earnings.
DCCFA Secretary
Jennifer Hudson-Allen suggests that Dallas College faculty might consider applying
to perform a variety of tasks, on a contract basis, for the Educational Testing
Service/College Board.
According to Dr.
Hudson-Allen, “There is no conflict of interest with our current position as
faculty, and the work is all remote. I have graded AP US History exams for a
long time, and really enjoy the responses and learning about the questions
given. I can say it has improved my own teaching to see what is expected in AP
classes.”

Dear Current or Former AP Reader:
Educational Testing
Service (ETS) is urgently seeking graduate students, teachers, professors, and
other experts to find, write, or review content for a wide variety of Advanced
Placement® (AP®) subject tests.
Content Specialists
are needed for these AP subjects: Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Computer
Science Principles, Environmental Science, European History, Macroeconomics,
Microeconomics, Physics (including Electricity, Magnetism, & Mechanics),
Political Science (U.S. Government & Politics, Comparative Government &
Politics), Statistics, U.S. History, and World History.
Assignments may
consist of finding appropriate published sources to include on a test, writing
test content aligned to specific subject-area standards, or reviewing and
revising test content. The work requires strong writing skills, attention to
detail, ability to meet deadlines, and receptiveness to constructive feedback.
Content Specialists work both independently and as part of a team, and all work
is done remotely/virtually.
Freelance Content
Specialists will begin work in December by completing a series of workshop
activities. These activities include watching on-demand videos, reviewing
content specifications and acceptance criteria, and attending a live evening
webinar. Assignments will be submitted on a regular basis between December and
early March, with the possibility for continued work later in 2021. If

Part-Time Temp and
Full-Time Temp Content Specialists are being hired through Adecco. These
positions are open to individuals who are available for at least 20 hours per
