Cliff Boyd defeated incumbent Trustee Wesley Jameson in the Dec. 8 runoff election for the District 5 seat on the Dallas College Board of Trustees.
Boyd was sworn in as trustee during the regular Dec. 15 Board of Trustees meeting.
Incumbent trustee Diana Flores was re-elected in the regular November general election for a new term.
The Board on Dec. 15 also voted for a new chair and a vice chair. The Board voted unanimously to elect Monica Lira Bravo as chair and Phil Ritter as vice chair.
