On Thursday, Senior Vice Provost of Academic Services Greg Morris sent an email with some updates regarding how Workday will impact the processes we use for extra service compensation. In his email was a link to a Sharepoint page with details on this transition.
We want to call your attention to two major items in the Sharepoint page:
- The College's terminology has been changed: instead of "extra service stipend," the College will use the language "period activity pay."
- You may receive an email suggesting that your contract has been cancelled, but it is actually referring to the cancellation of the former SEA Adobe Sign system -- not your contract itself. From the Sharepoint page: "During this transition, please do not be alarmed when you receive notification that your SEA form has been 'cancelled.' This is simply a result of us transitioning from the old contract forms/processes in favor of new Workday uploads of your Spring 2023 extra service contract information."
